Just the Ticket has been established since 2002 and we carry out services on most makes of car. We have a team of four fully qualified and experienced service technicians. And two senior technicians to oversee the work and provide guidance for more complex jobs.
We carry out all levels of servicing to most makes of cars at very competitive prices. We also offer manufacturer scheduled services for when your vehicle is still within a manufacturer's warranty.

Drain engine oil & refill.
Special or synthetic oils are subject to additional charge.
Check for general oil leaks & report any serious leaks.
Check for timing belt (cambelt) replacement interval & report if replacement due according to mileage or age.
Check radiator condition & report any leaks
Check coolant hoses for leaks & condition also securing clips for tightness & report on condition.
Check & record antifreeze strength & minimum temperature & top up coolant as required.
Visually inspect expansion bottle & tank for leaks & cap security.
Check electric cooling fan for operation where applicable.
Check condition & tension of fan or alternator belt. Adjust or report on condition.
Check condition & tension of auxiliary belts (excl cambelts)
Replace spark plugs for petrol engines only. An additional charge applies for platinum or long life plugs
Check visual condition of fuel lines
Replace diesel/petrol fuel filter (if fitted & external from fuel tank)
Check clutch operation for drag, slip, judder or noise & adjust if applicable
Check proshaft , driveshaft & joints. Grease nipples where fitted.
Check drive shaft gaitors for security & report leaks.
Check & top up axle and/or transaxle oil if applicable
Top up gearbox fluid where applicable & not sealed.
Check & top up clutch fluid where applicable.
Check operation of exterior lights.
Check diesel heater plug indicator operation where fitted.
Check battery security & lubricate terminals
Top up battery - non sealed units only.
Visual inspection of high tension leads.
Check external condition of distributor cap.
Check & top up power steering reservoir where applicable.
Check steering & suspension components for wear and corrosion.
Check steering rack gaitors condition.
Grease steering & suspension.
Check wheel bearings for excessive play or noise.
Check shock absorber condition & report on any serious leaks.
Inspect exhaust system (including catalyst if fitted) for leaks, security & noise
Visual check for exhaust smoke (diesel)
Check brake pads for wear or damage
Check brake callipers for leaks & security.
Check foot brake shoes for wear or damage
Inspect operation of wheel cylinders & report any leaks.
Visually check brake hydraulic system, pipes & hoses for any leaks, chafing & corrosion.
Check brake discs & drums for wear, cracks, corrosion & scoring or pitting.
Check brake servo operation.
Check ABS warning lights for correct operation, if applicable.
Test & report brake fluid boiling point, if applicable.
Check brake fluid level & top up if required.
Check tyre size & whether tyre is fitted to side wall instructions.
Check tyre condition & tread depth (including spare).
Check & adjust tyre pressures (including spare).
Set wheel nut torque to manufacturer's settings.
Check wheels for correct balance - including spare.
Check windscreen wiper condition & operation.
Check rear wiper condition & operation (if fitted).
Check windscreen washer operations & top up, if required.
Check windscreen for chips & cracks.
Check mirror condition - interior & exterior.
Check number plate condition.
Remove & check pollen filter condition, report if replacement required. (Supply & fit at additional cost).
Check seatbelts - front & rear including lap belt.
Lubricate accessible door hinges with white grease.
Reset vehicle service light where applicable (subject to data & tooling availability).
